Education about ecosystems and the natural world is my passion! I am a consultant that supports clients with projects that need to tell an engaging story (natural and cultural interpretation) or use education (environmental and marine) as a tool with their audience/members or clients. These are exciting and challenging times - exciting to see the public discourse on the environment and our impacts; challenging to see the shape we are in! Happy to discuss an idea you might have in mind and need some direction.I am a: Educator

Graduate student in oceanographyI'm a graduate student at the University of Washington interested in the ocean's role in mediating climate change. My research focuses on how phytoplankton contribute to the ocean's uptake of carbon dioxide. This year I've been spending a lot of time at sea, going on bimonthly cruises from Hong Kong to Long Beach, California on a container ship to study carbon dioxide drawdown in the North Pacific. When I'm home, I love hiking and swimming around the Puget Sound, and I'm looking forward to getting more involved in marine science activities through COSEE.

I never thought I would go into writing work. When I was in my teen years, my father would always tell me that he is doing writing just as a hobby because it pays very poorly. However, after graduation from business studies, I came across many writing job advertisements. The rest is history and I am now in a medical writing job.I am a: Graduate Student, Interested Citizen
