I started Beam Reach Marine Science and Sustainability School ( http://beamreach.org ) in 2004 to offer a boat-based marine science program to under/graduates interested in the environmental issues of the Pacific Northwest. Now I study endangered marine species like killer whales and salmon with my students and staff, primarily with bioacoustic technologies.
